more than 75 booths and SCO from Panchkula are on auction including few from these new sectors too. If someone bids and gets the SCO in sector 26 then we can hope for some more development in that sector. auction date is 23rd feb 2012.

This is a really good news. We cant imagine how much benefit these two projects will give to this area. On one side there will be a wide beautiful road along the river. and on another side of the sectors there will be a 4 laned NH-73.
the sectors in between will benefit a lot as roads are linfeline of economy.
There is another news i saw in dainik bhasker-panchkual live last week. It was on the front page with a map. A 6 lane road from 20/21 dividing road near ghaggar to peer muchalla, to Ambala Highway(near mc donalds) and then to NEW airport. But this could be an election stunt also.

It was in the paper that the B road is from sector 28 to IT Park.
the four laning of NH73 has been passed by govt with budget of over 1000 Cr. and more than 30 big companies have bid for it including L&T. The earlier tenders had project codst of around 700Cr and hence was failure but this time around it is surely gonna start.
A 10 marla plot in sector 25 will cost you anything from 1.60 to 1.80.

The B road will be from the new chowk to the starting of herbal park. It is not till sector 28, because herbal park cannot be dismantled. And it cannot go around the park because, there is a reitaining wall along the river. That will have to be shifted...that is too much work.

The work started couple of months ago on creating B-Road from sector 28 (covering 27,26,25,24,23) till Panchkula IT park. There is a good progress and it should be now ready in next few months. This is being done to divert the traffic during the four laning of NH73. The property prices are obviously going to go up with these progress. Current rate per square yard is around 70K in sector 25/26.

IIT Roorkie has given feasibility report.Can be done with 1-2 feet of clay cladding. Next HUDA Engg. dept is going to prepare detailed report and estimates. Then Approval.
